Nagarkot provides excellent mountain Panoramas on clear days that are absolutely spectacular. The hike from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel is very easy, with a little uphill but is mostly downhill. You can have lunch at Dhulikhel and come back to Kathmandu after approximately 4 to 6 hours of hiking.

Nagarkot to Dhulikhel hiking is an excellent choice for those planning to be in close with nature with a fresh mountain air inside a pine forests and villages before reaching the hillstation of dhulikhel. It is a good 16 km walk with an altitude drop of more than 800 meters and will take around good 5 hours to complete this trekking with ever changing landscapes. It is a panoramic trail in the valley rim and a part of Kathmandu valley cultural trekking trail with an altitudinal drop of 600 meters from Nagarkot (2100m) to Dhulikhel (1500m) above sea level. You will enjoy the stunning views of the eastern and central himalayas.

Time: 4:30am (The operator will reconfirm the pick up time in advance. Please be at the hotel lobby 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time
1hr drive to Nagarkot hilltop to catch the sunrise
Watch the sunrise and have breakfast atop Nagarkot Hilltop
9:30am start hike to Dhulikhel approx. 5-6 hours
Drive back to kathmandu from Dhulikhel and drop off at hotel

You get to sight the most fascinating and mesmerizing view of the sunrise from the hill station as well as an amazing 360 degree view of Himalayas range. Dhulikhel is your next destination. Treading along the unexplored trails of Dhulikhel can achieve a very exhilarating and enriching experience. After breakfast we start our day hike to Dhulikhel. Along the trail you will be amaze to see the life style of countryside. You will see the beautiful landscape and insights into the religious prospects in Nepal. You also get to bask in the splendors of cultural richness.
