About 6 hours drive from Kathmandu to Syabribensi, trek starts following the ragging Langtang river across the dense forest of Langtang national park which eventually takes us to Langtang village (3,430m) and Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m). Langtang valley trek is one of the most popular trekking regions for those wishing a short trek in Langtang Region. Langtang valley is greatly influence by Tibetan lifestyle, locals are the descendant of Tibetan origin. The Langtang region is Tibetan influenced so during this cultural trek you will get to see several ancient Buddhist monasteries. You will furthermore pass through local villages where there will be a good chance to small-talk with the local Tamang people who are known to be very friendly.

Today is a holy day, we are taking you to some of the cultural UNESCO heritage sites of Kathmandu. Our professional city guide will guide you to the spiritual landmarks including Kathmandu Durbar Square: a home of living goddess, Swayambhunath & Boudhanath: Buddhist stupas and Pashupatinath: a Hindu temple. From your guide and act of local, you will get a lot to know about Nepalese culture, history and religion. While after the tour, there will be pre-trip discussion and finalize official procedures as well. Meet your trek leaders, make some arrangements and be ready for your adventure to the Himalayas.

Adventure journey begins with drive from kathmandu to Syabrubesi, along the north western hill of Kathmandu. Enjoy the scintillating nature, village and town, Himalayan views and mountain lifestyle while passing through rivers, terraced fields and rustic villages. Lunch at Trishuli Bazaar and on passing through Dhunche (1,960m), we descent down to Syabrubesi to spend a night today.

First day of trekking start with early breakfast, we cross several suspension bridges following Langtang river. We pass through dense oak forest of Langtang national park along the up-down trial and reach to Bamboo (1,970m) for lunch. We trek couple of hours more to make up to Lama Hotel.

Our morning tea is followed by steady climb up along a dense forest and through the villages. Today we leave the tree line behind and get to appreciate the invitation of Nepalese Himalayas with open heart. In front Mt. Langtang Lirung (7,227m) seems marvelous. Pass by Ghodatabela (3,030m), Chyamki village (3,230m), chortens, water mills, prayer wheels and Mani walls before getting to beautiful Langtang village.

Today is an easy day. We make short trek with slight uphill and downhill. We will pass by many small plateaus, biggest Mani wall in Nepal and yak postures. Since, it is really a high altitude, take your time to walk slowly and acclimatize your body. Kyanjin Gompa is another wonderful land of Langtang surrounded by Himalayas.

Early in the morning you will have tea & breakfast and start hike to Tserko Ri. This is best chance to feel the mountain environment and see the sparking morn mounts. From Tserko Ri you can see the brilliant snow mass compositing one another. This is perhaps the best place to see Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Langtang II (6,596m), Yala peak (5,500m) and many more. Returning Kyanjin Gompa, we proceed down to Langtang village for overnight stay.

Today also we repeat downhill trek all the way to Syabrubesi. We descent down along the dense forest hearing anonymous sounds of Langtang khola river. Since, the whole journey is mostly downhill, we can easily make the way.

This day you will say bye to this wonderland. By the completion of trek and gaining the lifetime experience you drive back to Kathmandu. On arriving Kathmandu you will transfer to your hotel and will have free time ahead.

Experience Required:
This trek is suitable for fit walkers or those with previous trekking experience. If you have completed the EBC, or climbed Kilimanjaro or are a happy-go-lucky weekend hill walker, you could consider the Everest 3 high passes. This is one of those treks that could test your physical & mental abilities.
During langtang valley trek, we get fresh Chinese, Continental and Italian and several local Nepali cuisines. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included in the package. Your guide will suggest delicious, hygienic and each place special food during your trip. Mountain restaurant owner prefer not to order many dishes and waste food as they would like to cater more trekkers with limited food before run off stuck. Its a week or more days hard work to porters and caravans to bring food to these places. During this trek you will usually have breakfast and dinner at the same Lodge, lunch will be eaten at one of the trail side restaurants en-route.
A Local Tea House is the combination of guest house in Himalayas, restaurant. Private rooms are available in most Tea Houses, except for high altitudes ones where it will be just dormitories. The lodges are fairly basic and the rooms are spare with twin beds and very little additional furniture. Blankets are generally provided at the local lodge. There is a large dining room-cum-lounge, warmed by the bukhara stove (an iron cylinder, fitted with a chimney duct, in which a log fire is lighted. There is normally no electric lighting in the rooms unless the village has hydroelectric power. The dining room usually hassolar lighting. Most teahouses now also have electricity for charging mobile phones and cameras and it will be extra chargech which will be minimun
Mount Trails provides unlimited chlorine/Iodine treated water during the trek. All tea houses have mineral water and boiled water for trekkers upon additional cost. We discourage the purchase of Mineral water and bottled water while on the Trek as plastic bottles aredifficult to dispose off and have become an environmental problem
